Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) Berbantuan Augmented Reality (AR) Materi Turunan pada Fase F

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) based Student Worksheet (LKPD) assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) on derivative material to facilitate the geometric skills of Phase F students that meet valid, practical, and effective criteria. This research is motivated by derivative learning that remains teacher-centered, causing students to tend to understand derivatives as computational procedures and experience difficulties in grasping derivative concepts through geometric approaches, particularly the relationship between function graphs, tangent line slopes, and rates of change. Previous studies have developed PBL-based worksheets and AR media in mathematics learning, but the development of worksheets integrating PBL and AR to facilitate geometric skills in derivative material remains limited. In this study, AR is utilized to visualize derivative concepts geometrically, enabling students to connect function graph representations with tangent line slope concepts and rates of change more easily. Geometric skills facilitate students in visualizing, representing, explaining, reasoning, and applying derivative concepts through interpretation of function graphs and tangent lines. This study employed Research and Development method with the 4-D development model, encompassing the define stage consisting of needs analysis, the design stage consisting of worksheet design, AR media, geometric skills tests, and student response questionnaires, the develop stage consisting of validation, practicality testing, and effectiveness testing, and the disseminate stage consisting of limited product dissemination. The results showed that all instruments obtained average validity scores above 3.00 in the valid category, a practicality percentage of 88.61% in the very practical category, and classical mastery of 80% in the effective category. Thus, the PBL-based AR-assisted worksheet meets the valid, practical, and effective criteria within the trial context at SMK Visi Global Cluring. However, these results cannot be generalized as the trial was conducted in only one class with a limited number of students.
