Abstract

The development of digital technology demands a strong data security systems, especially for unique and sensitive biometric data such as iris images on identity cards (KTP). This study aims to analyse the concept of super (a,d)-hyperedge antimagic total labeling in hypergraph structures and apply it as a keystream in the biometric image encryption process using the vigenere cipher method. A hypergraph is a generalisation of a graph, where each hyperedge can connect more than two points, resulting in a more complex structure than a regular graph. The hypergraph structures used in this study are Hyper-Zigzag Triangles (HZT n,m) dan Hyper-Zigzag Chord (HZCn,m),with super (a,d)-hyperedge antimagic total labeling performed bijectively and hyperedge weights forming arithmetic sequences with initial term a and difference d. The adjacency matrix resulting from labeling is used as the first key, while the second key is obtained from a random matrix generated using MATLAB software. The encryption process begins with shiftrows transformation on the image, followed by encryption using the vigenere cipher method. The security of the system is evaluated through analysis of NPCR, UACI, PSNR, and correlation coefficients on the RGB color channel. The results show that the integration of super (a,d)-hyperedge antimagic total labeling on hypergraphs can enhance key complexity and provide an adequate level of security for biometric image encryption. Thus, the proposed method has the potential to serve as an alternative for securing digital biometric data.
