Pengaruh Model Picture and Picture Berbantuan Articulate Storyline pada Pengeringan Tembakau Terhadap Minat dan Hasil Belajar Fisika

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Picture-and-Picture learning model, supported by Articulate Storyline and integrated with the local context of tobacco drying, on students’ learning interest and learning outcomes in physics on the topic of heat transfer. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental method using a non-equivalent control group design. The research was conducted at SMAN Kalisat Jember with Class XI-10 as the experimental class and Class XI-8 as the control class, each consisting of 35 students. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. The instruments included pre-test and post-test essay questions and a learning interest questionnaire based on a four-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests, the Independent Samples t-test, the N-Gain test, and simple linear regression with SPSS 26. The results showed that the learning model significantly improved students’ learning outcomes and learning interest. The experimental class achieved a higher average post-test score (85.48) than the control class (48.57), with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). The N-Gain results indicated a high and effective category for the experimental class. The regression analysis also showed a significant effect on learning interest (p = 0.004). Therefore, the Picture-and-Picture learning model supported by Articulate Storyline effectively improves students’ learning interest and learning outcomes in heat transfer.
