Peran Kelompok Masyarakat (Pokmas) dalam Meningkatkan Ekonomi Lokal Masyarakat di Ruang Terbuka Hijau (Rth) Maron, Desa Genteng Kulon

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of Community Groups (POKMAS) in improving the local economy of the community in the Green Open Space (RTH) of Genteng Kulon Village. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with the management (POKMAS), MSMEs, and visitors to Maron Green Open Space. Data analysis was carried out using the AGIL (Adaptation, Goal Attainment, Integration, Latency) scheme theoretical framework from Talcott Parsons. The results of the study indicate that Maron Green Open Space has successfully carried out four integrated social system functions, namely: (1) Adaptation: Maron Green Open Space provides ecological and economic resources that enable traders to transform from a mobile system to a settled one with a stable increase in income; (2) Goal Attainment: Through POKMAS coordination, this Green Open Space is focused on being a means of empowering the local Genteng Kulon community to become entrepreneurs; (3) Integration: Harmonization is established between managers and traders through a culture of deliberation in decision-making and conflict management; (4) Latency: Maintaining the value of togetherness through the culture of mutual cooperation and local traditions that strengthen social identity amidst economic development. The conclusion of the research shows that the Maron RTH is not just a green space, but a socio-economic system that is able to balance material progress with the preservation of local cultural values of the Genteng Kulon Village community.
