This study aimed to explore how English teachers design and implement peer assessment of speaking in senior high school English classes. Speaking skills are crucial in English language learning; however, many students in Indonesia struggle with speaking English (Tridinanti, 2018). In this case, a learning approach that is more directed towards the use of language in real contexts is needed, and Peer assessment is a learning concept that emphasizes collaborative, active learning. Therefore, this research aims to explore English teachers’ experiences in designing and implementing peer assessment of speaking in English classes at a senior high school.
