Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Leaflet Berbantuan QR Code pada Materi Bumi Berubah (IPAS) Kelas V SDN Kalianyar 02 Bondowoso

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to develop a QR code-based brochure for fifth-grade elementary school students with the theme "The Earth is Changing." This research was motivated by students' low interest and understanding in learning, primarily due to the use of conventional teaching methods and the lack of innovative and interactive learning media. As a result, students tend to be less engaged and have difficulty understanding abstract concepts related to Earth's changes. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects were fifth-grade students at SDN Kalianyar 02 Bondowoso. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests to measure the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed media. The results showed that the QR code-based brochure achieved a validity score of 86.25%, categorized as "very feasible" based on expert validation in terms of content, design, and language. The practicality test indicated that this media was easy to use and well-received by students, categorized as "practical." Meanwhile, the effectiveness test showed an increase in student understanding, with the results categorized as "quite effective." The integration of QR Codes allows students to access additional digital resources such as videos and interactive materials, making learning more engaging. Therefore, the QR Code-assisted brochure is considered appropriate and beneficial for use in science learning, particularly on the topic of "earth changes."
