dc.description.abstractThe Seputih site in Seputih Village, Mayang District, Jember Regency has megalithic remains including dolmen stones with kangkang motifs and three sarcophagi and many are still exposed in the Seputih Village Area. This study aims to describe and analyze the alleged distribution of megalithic rock structures at the Seputih Site using the 3D Wenner-Schlumberger configuration geoelectric resistivity method. The method used is the Wenner - Schlumberger configuration geoelectric resistivity with the advantages of VES and CST results. Data processing uses Microsoft Excel, Res2dinv software for 2D and Voxler 3D software. The research location is around the Seputih Site, using 5 paths, paths 1 and 2 along 40 meters (a value = 1.6 meters, n = 5), paths 3, 4, and 5 along 12 meters (a value = 0.5 meters, n = 5). The results of this study are that the subsurface structure of the Seputih Site is composed of clay with a resistivity value of <100 Ωm, weathered tuff such as alluvium with a value of 101-300 Ωm, volcanic breccia and andesite with a resistivity value of around >300 - 1674 Ωm. The estimation of andesite on track 1 is at a depth of 2.96 - 3.98 meters, track 2 at a depth of 2.76-4.18 meters, track 3 at a depth of 1.34 - 1.73 meters, track 4 is at a depth of 0.926 - 1.59 meters. and track 5 at a depth of 1.24 - 1.59 meters. The distribution pattern is spread throughout the track and anomalies with high resistivity at shallow depths on tracks 4 and 5. These results are in accordance with the stratigraphy of the research area and rock materials in the form of tuff, volcanic breccia, andesite and basalt. This information can be used for preservation and excavation activities by related parties.
