Pengaruh Karakteristik Wirausaha dan Lingkungan Eksternal terhadap Perkembangan UMKM di Jalan Jawa Kabupaten Jember

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of entrepreneurial characteristics and the external environment on the development of MSMEs on Jalan Jawa, Jember Regency. The type of research used is associative quantitative. Sampling uses a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. The research population is MSME entrepreneurs on Jalan Jawa, Jember Regency and the number of research samples is 64 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression and the coefficient of determination (R2). Based on the results of the T test, it is known that entrepreneurial characteristics partially have a significance value of 0.003 <0.05, which means that the entrepreneurial characteristics variable has a partial influence on the development of MSMEs on Jalan Jawa, Jember Regency. The external environment variable has a significance value of 0.034 <0.05, which means that the external environment variable has a partial influence on the development of MSMEs on Jalan Jawa, Jember Regency. The results also show that entrepreneurial characteristics and the external environment simultaneously have a significant influence on the development of MSMEs on Jalan Jawa, Jember Regency. The coefficient of determination test shows that these two variables simultaneously contribute 44.5%, while the remaining 55.5% is influenced by other variables.
