Gaya Kepengarangan A.Warits Rovi dalam Kumpulan Puisi Kesunyian Melahirkanku Sebagai Lelaki dan Pemanfaatannya sebagai Alternatif Materi Menulis Puisi di SMP Kelas VIII

Abstract

This research analyzes A.Warits Rovi authorship style in the collection of poems Silence Makes Me Birth as a Man. Overall, this research examines the use of figurative language, authorship style, and the use of this work as material for class VIII Indonesian language teaching. The object of this research is the collection of poems The Silence of Giving Birth to Me as a Man by A.Warits Rovi. The type of research used is qualitative research with a genetic stylistic approach. The data source for this research data is excerpts of stanzas, lines and words from the poetry collection Silence Gives Birth to Me as a Man by A.Warits Rovi. Data was obtained through interview techniques and documentation through heuristic reading according to research needs. The research results consist of three discussions. First,figurative language which consists of exposure, structural exploration and imagery. Second, authorship style which consists of the use of figurative language and the use of lexical elements. Third, the research results were implemented as an alternative material for wiritng poetry in Indonesian language learning in class VIII junior high school. Therefore, it is hoped that it can provide theoretical and practical benefits for various parties.
