dc.description.abstractThe low productivity of soybean plants (Glycine max L.) in the country caused by one of the decline in soil fertility triggers high import rates amidst increasing market demand, so that efficient cultivation innovations are needed to increase nutrients through the use of organic materials in the form of a combination of rice straw compost and BRE4 biofertilizer. This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of rice straw compost and BRE4 biofertilizer on the growth and production of Anjasmoro variety soybean plants, determine the most optimal and efficient application dose, and compile research outputs in the form of scientific information media (Booklet). This study was conducted using a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of 6 treatments and 3 replications. The growth variables observed included plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight, and dry weight. The production variables observed included the number of pods, pod weight, pod length, number of seeds in each pod, number of seeds, seed weight, weight of 50 seeds. The observation data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (Anova) and continued with further Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) with a 95% confidence level. The results of the study showed that the combination of rice straw compost and BRE4 fertilizer affected the growth and production parameters of Anjasmoro soybean varieties. The JB3 treatment (75 grams of compost and 0.8 ml of BRE4 fertilizer) proved to be the most appropriate and recommended dose. Although the JB6 treatment provided the highest absolute production volume, the JB3 treatment was able to produce equivalent vegetative growth and competitive production components while effectively reducing the crop production cost budget. The results of this study were then integrated and utilized as educational media in the form of a Booklet of technical cultivation instructions for farmers, which was declared vvery vali. based on expert validation tests with a feasibility percentage of 88,8%.
