Analisis Penentuan Pusat-Pusat Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di kabupaten Bondowoso

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) identify which district serves as the growth center within Bondowoso Regency, and (2) determine the growth center's level of attraction for its hinterland areas. The study employs a quantitative analysis method using secondary data obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and other relevant agencies. Scalogram analysis and gravity analysis were utilized as analytical tools. The results of the scalogram analysis indicate that Bondowoso District possessing 69 facility units serves as the growth center for the regency. Meanwhile, the districts of Maesan, Tenggarang, Wringin, Cermee, and several others function as secondary service centers, whereas Ijen, Taman Krocok, and Binakal are classified as areas with relatively low levels of service provision. Gravity analysis calculations reveal consistently rising figures, demonstrating that Bondowoso District acts as the primary growth center exerting a strong pull on other areas within the regency..
