The mining and mineral processing sector, including the limestone milling industry, is one of the sectors with high noise exposure levels reaching 87.20–93.99 dBA. Continuous noise exposure can trigger non-auditory complaints in workers through stress hormone activation, affecting blood pressure and communication quality, thereby increasing the risk of work accidents. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between noise intensity and non-auditory subjective complaints among workers at CV.X. This study employed a cross-sectional design with an observational analytic approach. The sample consisted of 89 workers selected using a propositional random sampling technique. Independent variables included age, working period, noise perception, noise intensity, and duration of exposure, while the dependent variable was non-auditory complaints. Data were collected through interviews using questionnaires and noise intensity measurements using a sound level meter, then analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test. The results showed that there were 3 measurement points with noise intensity > 85 dBA, 35 respondents (39.3%) were exposed to > 85 dBA, and 62 respondents (69.7%) were exposed for > 8 hours/day. Noise perception was significantly related to non-auditory complaints (p=0.035), whereas age (p=0.367) and working period (p=0.330) were not. Noise intensity as an environmental factor showed a significant relationship with non-auditory complaints (p=0.026), as did duration of exposure (p=0.012). It is concluded that noise intensity and duration of exposure are factors significantly associated with non-auditory complaints among workers at CV.X.
