| dc.description.abstract | Rice is one of the most widely cultivated commodities and serves as a major pillar of national food security. A large portion of the land in Jember Regency consists of irrigated agricultural areas. The Jenggawah Technical Implementation Unit (UPT Jenggawah) is one of the regions frequently facing challenges related to water shortages, especially during the dry season. The FPR-LPR and evapotranspiration methods are approaches that can be used to support irrigation water allocation management. This study aims to determine water allocation and identify the best method between the FPR-LPR and evapotranspiration methods. The study required secondary data, including climatic elements, soil conditions, crop data, water discharge data, and RTTG data for 2023–2024. The irrigation water allocation for rice in the UPT SDA Jenggawah area during planting season I, covering 3,685 ha, and planting season II, covering 2,372 ha, in 2023–2024 was calculated using the FPR-LPR method at 79,492 L/s, while the result obtained using the evapotranspiration method was 59,814 L/s. The results of the water adequacy analysis showed that the adequacy index of the evapotranspiration method was higher, reaching 3.8, compared to 2.3 for the FPR-LPR method.
