| dc.description.abstract | Education has entered the 21st century. Student-centered learning activities utilize the 4C basic skills that are essential for students to master to prepare them to face the challenges of a constantly changing world. One skill that combines the 4C basic skills is problem-solving skills. In the modern era, technology is developing rapidly, information is easily accessible. However, this makes it difficult for students to develop problem-solving skills due to their dependence on instant information and quick answers. A model with a learning approach is needed to overcome these problems. An alternative is to implement the SSI-based MFI learning model. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of the SSI-based MFI learning model on problem-solving skills and biology learning outcomes of high school students. The study was conducted at Pakusari State Senior High School in the odd semester of the 2025 academic year on biodiversity material for grade X. The method used was a quasi-experimental one. The research sample was obtained from testing the normality and homogeneity of the entire grade X class and using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection used observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The test results using the test showed results of .000 < 0.05 in problem-solving skills, .039 < 0.05 in cognitive learning outcomes and .000 based on the results of the Mann-Whitney test on affective learning outcomes. These data mean that there is an increase in problem-solving skills and biology learning outcomes of high school students using the SSI-based MFI learning model. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the SSI-based MFI learning model on problem-solving skills and biology learning outcomes of high school students | |
