Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Flipbook Digital Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Jember pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila untuk Peserta Peserta Didik Kelas V SD

Abstract

This study aims to develop digital flipbook teaching materials based on Jember local wisdom for the Pancasila Education subject in fifth-grade Elementary School and to determine their validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Borg and Gall model, implemented through eight stages: preliminary research, planning and development, initial product design, expert validation, initial product revision, product trials, product revision, and effectiveness testing. The product was developed using the Canva application and integrated into the Heyzine flipbook website. The study was conducted at SDN Bintoro 01, Jember Regency, with fifth-grade students as subjects, where class V A served as the control class and class V B as the experimental class. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The instruments used were expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest questions. The results showed that the digital flipbook teaching materials obtained a validity score of 85 (very feasible). The validation of the test instrument reached 93.75 and the student response questionnaire 90 (both very feasible). The practicality test showed a percentage of 93.7% (very practical). The effectiveness test showed that the calculated t value was greater than the t table (4.98 > 2.03) with an effectiveness level of 77.40, indicating differences in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes. Therefore, the digital flipbook teaching materials based on Jember local wisdom are suitable for use in fifth-grade Pancasila Education learning.
