Strategi Pengembangan Minat dan Bakat Kesenian Musik di LKP One Nada Music School Kecamatan Cluring Kabupaten Banyuwangi

Abstract

The strategy for developing interests and talents in the musical arts is a vital aspect that cannot be separated from everyday life. Interest and talent represent individual abilities or potential that must be nurtured and developed to guide individuals according to their strengths. Every trainee who demonstrates an interest and talent in the field of music should be supported and guided with the aim of enhancing their musical abilities. The objective of this study is to explore the strategies used to develop musical arts interests and talents at One Nada Music School in Cluring District, Banyuwangi Regency. This research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, in which data were collected using three techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. The research location was selected using purposive area sampling, and informants were chosen through purposive sampling as well. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman qualitative model, which consists of four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions with verification. This model served as the foundation for writing the research findings to provide an appropriate and comprehensive understanding. The results of the study show that One Nada Music School is one of the music courses that has successfully implemented strategies to develop the musical interests and talents of its trainees through structured music training activities. The initial step in this development process involves identifying talented participants through four key stages: providing appropriate education, offering flexible learning, facilitating self expression, and fostering character development. It can be concluded that the strategy for developing interests and talents at LKP One Nada Music School is effective in enhancing the interests and talents of the surrounding community. As a result, it fosters the independence of the training participants and promotes creativity among the people of Sarimulyo Village
