| dc.description.abstract | Post-harvest activities prevent the loss of agricultural products beyond the harvest period. Poor post-harvest handling leads to a decline in agricultural yields. One of the post-harvest activities is grain drying. The grain drying process is carried out using an automatic bed dryer type grain dryer. The temperature on 1 ton grain and 1.2 ton grain is between 35.5 ℃ to 37.9 ℃, while on 1.7 ton grain pile is between 38 ℃ to 41 ℃. As for the moisture content during the grain drying process, the longer the drying time, the lower the moisture content in the grain. The moisture content was measured every 30 minutes, and the difference in moisture content was between 1% and 2%. The highest drying rate was obtained in the drying process of 1.7 tons of grain with a drying rate of 0.055 %bb/hour. The efficiency of grain drying using an automatic bed dryer type grain dryer with the highest corn cob fuel on 1.7 tons of grain is 35.51 %. The efficiency value will be higher if the mass of grain is in accordance with the capacity of the bed dryer type automatic grain dryer.
