Strategi Hidup Purnatugas Menghadapi Perubahan Psikososial dan Ekonomi (Studi pada Aparatur Sipil Negara Dinas Sosial P3AKB Kabupaten Bondowoso)

Abstract

Retirement is a crucial transitional phase that brings significant changes to State Civil Apparatus (ASN), both in terms of income and social life. This study aims to describe and illustrate the life strategies implemented by retired ASN from the Social Service P3AKB Bondowoso Regency in adapting to psychosocial and economic changes. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with informants who had entered retirement. The results showed that the early retirement period triggered psychosocial challenges in the form of feelings of loss of routine, loneliness, and a drastic decrease in income.. Economic strategies were carried out by running productive businesses such as grocery stores, laying hen farms, and agriculture to increase income. Psychosocial strategies were realized through sports activities regular exercise, recreation with family caring for grandchildren/plants, and active participation in community activities PKK, diba'iyah, alumni organizations. Strong emotional support from the family is a major factor determining the success of post-service adaptation in achieving psychological well-being and avoiding post-power syndrome.
