Pengembangan Media AhaSlides Materi Sejarah Societeit De Harmonie Berbasis Metode Co-op Co-op Dan Evektifitasnya Terhadap Historical Empathy

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' low historical empathy as well as their ability to remember material, connect old material with new material, and analyze historical events based on the results of the analyze questionnaire. The research aims to develop the AhaSlides media for the history material on Societeit de Harmonie in Pasuruan to increase students' historical empathy and to test its effectiveness in history learning. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The research subjects consisted of 36 11th-grade students at SMAN 1 Purwosari. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation, and were analyzed using normality tests, paired sample t-tests, and relative effectiveness. The results of the study show that the AhaSlides media received a very feasible category based on validation by material, media or design, language, and user experts. At the stage of evaluating perception, students gave positive responses because the media was considered able to improve understanding of the material, interactivity, and historical empathy. The results of evaluating learning showed an increase in pretest and posttest scores (sig. 0.00 < 0.05) and a relative effectiveness value of 0.50, which is categorized as a large effect. In addition, the performance evaluation stage showed that the application of AhaSlides based on the Co-op Co-op method was able to develop historical empathy in a critical, collaborative, and reflective way. Thus, AhaSlides media is effective for enhancing historical empathy in history learning.
