dc.description.abstractThe ability for scientific argumentation is an important aspect of science learning. Scientific argumentation allows students to validate claims based on reasoning, provide evidence, test and evaluate theories, and communicate like a scientist. The Argument-Driven Inquiry learning method is a laboratory-based inquiry model that integrates argumentation activities, so students can work in experiment groups to understand science concepts practically. This research aims to develop an Argument-Driven Inquiry-based student worksheet to improve the scientific argumentation abilities of junior high school students on the subject of vibrations, waves, and light. Using the ADDIE development model, this research includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results show that the Argument-Driven Inquiry-based student worksheet is highly valid, practical, and effective in improving students' scientific argumentation abilities with an N-gain test result of 0.76, which falls into the high category.
