dc.description.abstractThe Mayang River is a water source in Jember Regency, supporting agriculture and community activities. Along the Tempurejo–Ambulu segment, domestic activities such as bathing, washing, and household waste disposal may reduce water quality. This study aimed to determine the spatial characteristics of Mayang River water quality using the Spatial Linear Regression method. It was conducted from February to April 2024, using secondary data on TSS, TDS, pH, DO, and BOD, which were evaluated based on Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2021. The analysis included site surveys, Euclidean Distance calculation, spatial value extraction, multiple linear regression, prediction validation, and mapping through reclassification and overlay processes. The results showed that water quality varied among river segments. Upstream to middle segments were dominated by class I and II, whereas the downstream segment declined to class III. DO had the strongest model contribution, with an R-squared value of 0.7308.
