Abstract

Mathematical literacy is one of the important things needed in students' lives, but according to the test results obtained from PISA, students' mathematical literacy skills in Indonesia are still relatively low. The purpose of this study was to describe the mathematical literacy skills of uncertainty and data content based on students' self-efficacy with high and low levels. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were 28 fifth grade students of SDN Kotakulon 2 Bondowoso. Six students were randomly selected to be interviewed representing students with high and low levels of self-efficacy. The data collection methods used were questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The data obtained were then data analysis techniques developed by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.. The results of the analysis based on the mathematical literacy indicators can be concluded that students with high self efficacy can fulfill two indicators, namely formulating and using, while students with low levels of self-efficacy are only able to fulfill one indicator, namely formulating.
