Pronunciation is a key element in gaining success in speaking. Karsono (2019) stated that without appropriate pronunciation, having a rich vocabulary and grammatical mastery does not ensure that people can be good speakers. Therefore, a song is a good medium to teach pronunciation. Kramer and Daniel (2001) said that songs are good for teaching because songs are fun. They promote mimics, gestures, and associated meanings. Besides, the device that plays an instrumental version of a song and allows users to sing along with music is called karaoke (Duong & Nam, 2024). Song karaoke is a singing activity that uses the song as a medium by following the instrumental version played on the device. In line with this statement, this research focuses on improving the students‟ pronunciation ability using English song karaoke.
