Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran “Escolio” Berbasis Android untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis pada Peserta Didik Kelas V SDN Balung Kulon 02 Jember

Abstract

The development of technology in the 21st century has entered various aspects of human life. Education is one of the essential elements to create quality Indonesian people who are not free from the impact of increasingly massive technological developments. Android as one of the products of technological developments has become a device that has been widely used by the community, including students in elementary schools including at SDN Balung Kulon 02, especially in grade V students. However, its use is still classified as just for playing. The results of interviews with grade V teachers at SDN Balung Kulon 02 showed that the use of learning media in teaching the material "Learning Entrepreneurship" in grade V elementary schools, especially those based on technology, is still not optimal. The aim of this research is to describe the development, validity, effectiveness and practicality of the Android-based learning media Escolio in the "Belajar Berwirausaha" chapter for class V elementary schools. This research is development research with a 4D development model carried out at SDN Balung Kulon 02 Jember with research subjects as class V students. The results of the research show that the validation scores obtained are the scores from media expert validators of 95, material experts of 97, and practitioner experts. of 97 with a Vtotal of 96.3%. The effectiveness test results show a percentage of 81% while the practicality percentage is 93%
