Pengembangan E-LKM Berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Murid Materi Ramai karena Bunyi Kelas V SDN Jember Lor 2

Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that teaching materials used in IPAS instruction are still dominated by conventional materials, resulting in less interactive learning, low student engagement in the learning process, and poor learning outcomes on the Sound material. Therefore, there is a need to develop digital teaching materials in the form of Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based E LKM that are tailored to the characteristics of elementary school students. This study aims to develop a PBL-based E-LKM that is valid, practical, and effective in improving learning outcomes in the Sound unit of IPAS curriculum for fifth-grade elementary school students. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were fifth-grade students at SDN Jember Lor 2. Data collection techniques included interviews, validation. The research results show that the PBL-based E LKM meets the criteria for high validity based on the validators’ assessment following revisions made in accordance with the recommendations provided. The usability test results indicate that the E-LKM received a very positive response from students, making it easy to use in learning activities. The effectiveness test results show an improvement in student learning outcomes after using the E-LKM, as evidenced by higher pretest and posttest scores. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the PBL-based E-LKM developed meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, making it suitable for use as digital teaching material in IPAS lessons on the topic “Noisy Because of Sound” in elementary schools. The use of this E-LKM supports more interactive learning, increases student engagement, and helps improve learning outcomes.
