Analisis Produktivitas Alat Gali Muat Excavator dan Alat Angkut ADT pada Penambangan Bijih Emas di PT X menggunakan Metode Antrean

Abstract

PT X is a gold mining company in Java utilizing Cat 6015B excavators and Articulated Dump truck (ADT) 745 units to support its ore production activities. The company’s monthly production target of 1.424.000.000 BCM has not been achieved, with actual excavator output reaching 711.789.193 BCM and truck production at 731.278.095 BCM out of the 850.000.000 BCM target. This study aims to analyze the productivity of loading and hauling equipment and identify the causes of underperformance using a queueing method approach. The research was conducted through field observation, primary and secondary data collection, and processing of cycle time, equipment efficiency, bucket fill factor, swell factor, and match factor. The results show that work efficiency was 56%, categorized as poor, and the match factor was 1,8, indicating an imbalance between equipment capacities. Technical obstacles such as operator delays, poor haul road conditions, and weather disruptions were found to be the main contributors. Simulation using a multi-server queueing model (M/M/2) and the addition of one excavator unit significantly improved equipment harmony and productivity. This study concludes that the queueing method is effective in analyzing and optimizing the heavy equipment system and provides practical recommendations for improving production performance
