Abstract

The two-loop electric circuit is one of the most difficult physical materials and discusses the concept of Kirchoff's Law and its solution using the method of substitution and elimination. One alternative solution that can be used in solving the problem of two-loop electrical circuits is to use Cramer's rule assisted by the Sarrus method. This study aims to examine the significant differences between student learning outcomes when using the Sarrus method assisted Cramer rule with the substitution and elimination method on two-loop electrical circuit material, and describe student responses to the use of the Sarrus method-assisted Cramer ruleIn solving the problem of two-loop electrical circuits. This research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods. The results showed a significant difference in student learning outcomes when using Cramer's rule assisted by the Sarrus method with the substitution and elimination method on the two-loop electrical circuit material. The implementation of Cramer's rule assisted by the Sarrus method as an alternative solution to solving the two-loop electrical circuit problem received a very positive response with a percentage value of 81,25%. The results showed that Cramer's rule assisted by the Sarrus method can be used in solving problems on two-loop electrical circuit material.
