Abstract
Jember Regency is one of the highest rice producers in Indonesia, indicating
that agricultural land in Jember Regency is classified as productive. However,
agricultural land productivity in Sumbersari District is not included in the high
category when compared to other districts in Jember Regency. Agricultural land
productivity is influenced by several chemical elements in the soil such as nitrogen
(N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K). The relationship between N, P, and K with plant
growth is very close so that these elements are often used as parameters to
determine the status of soil fertility. The integration of spatial data on agricultural
land is a manifestation of the application of precision agriculture that can support
more efficient and sustainable agricultural resource management. The methods
used in this study include the Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW), Principal
Component Analysis (PCA), and Soil Fertility Index (SFI). The results showed that
the content of N, P, and K elements is spread across different categories, while the
SFI calculation shows that the level of soil fertility in the study area has different
spatial variations at each location. The integration of the SFI, PCA, and IDW
methods can provide a more comprehensive spatial picture of the level of soil
fertility. Information from the results of this study can be used as a basis for
agricultural land management and as a reference in compiling more location
specific fertilizer recommendations in Sumbersari District.
