dc.description.abstractKecamatan Pesanggaran, khususnya Desa Pesanggaran dan Desa Sumberagung, rawan terhadap bencana tsunami karena berhadapan langsung dengan zona subduksi selatan Jawa. Pertumbuhan penduduk yang pesat meningkatkan risiko bencana di wilayah ini, sehingga diperlukan analisis keterkaitan antara pengembangan wilayah dan tingkat kerawanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dinamika spasial tutupan lahan terbangun terhadap kerawanan tsunami di Kecamatan Pesanggaran, Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Metode Cellular Automata-Markov Chain (CA-MC) digunakan untuk memprediksi arah pertumbuhan lahan temporal tahun 2021 hingga 2029. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan model prediksi ini sangat akurat dengan nilai Kappa Coefficient sebesar 0,8861. Pada tahun 2029, proyeksi menunjukkan penambahan lahan terbangun sebesar 73,21 Ha. Kerawanan tsunami dianalisis melalui teknik weighted overlay. Ditemukan bahwa luas lahan terbangun di zona kerawanan tsunami tinggi Desa Sumberagung akan mencapai 55,86 Ha pada tahun 2029. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya integrasi hasil proyeksi spasial dengan kebijakan penataan ruang untuk meminimalisir risiko bencana tsunami di masa depan. Pesanggaran District, particularly Pesanggaran and Sumberagung Villages, are prone to tsunamis because they face the southern Java subduction zone. Rapid population growth increases the risk of disasters in this region, necessitating an analysis of the relationship between regional development and vulnerability levels. This study aims to analyze the spatial dynamics of built-up land cover and tsunami vulnerability in Pesanggaran District, Banyuwangi Regency. The Cellular Automata-Markov Chain (CA-MC) method was used to predict the direction of temporal land growth from 2021 to 2029. Simulation results show that this prediction model is highly accurate with a Kappa Coefficient value of 0.8861. In 2029, projections indicate an increase in built-up land by 73.21 Ha. Tsunami vulnerability was analyzed using a weighted overlay technique. It was found that the built-up land area in the high tsunami vulnerability zone of Sumberagung Village will reach 55.86 Ha by 2029. This finding emphasizes the need to integrate spatial projection results with spatial planning policies to minimize the risk of future tsunami disasters.
