Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada Pembelajaran Ekonomi Materi Konsep Badan Usaha (Studi Kasus pada kelas XI SMAN Rambipuji Kabupaten Jember)

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Economics learning on the topic of business entities for grade XI students at SMAN Rambipuji, Jember Regency. The focus of the study includes lesson planning, learning implementation, and learning assessment. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The main subject was an Economics teacher of grade XI, supported by the Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs and grade XI students as informants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The findings reveal that teachers have conducted lesson planning by analyzing Learning Outcomes (Capaian Pembelajaran), developing Learning Objective Sequences (ATP), and preparing teaching modules. The learning implementation stage showed active and participatory learning through differentiated instruction, although it has not been fully structured. In terms of assessment, formative and summative assessments were conducted systematically, while diagnostic assessment was still carried out informally through preliminary questioning. Overall, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Economics learning at SMAN Rambipuji has been carried out effectively in accordance with the principles of flexibility and learner characteristics.
