dc.description.abstractThe Mitra App Surveyor Oke Garden is an online tool that surveyors use to gather information from clients, which helps in creating garden designs. Observations, interviews, and the first check using the Website Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) framework found some usability problems, like a long time to finish the survei, confusing way to move around the site, and not clear way to present information, which made it harder for surveyors to work efficiently in the field. The study tried to check how easy the system was to use, used the Double diamond method to redesign the user interface, made the changes on the front-end part of the system, and then checked again how easy it was to use after the redesign. The study used the Double diamond method, which includes four stages: Discover, Define, Develop, and Deliver. The Discover phase included observations, interviews, and WEBUSE assessments with five surveyors. After that, the user's needs were looked at using an Empathy map to come up with design suggestions. The final design was put into the front-end web app using React and then tested again with the same people using WEBUSE. The results show that the average usability score went up from 0.72 to 0.80, which is an increase of 0.08. Improvements were seen in all the WEBUSE factors: Content, Organization, and Readability, which went up from 0.69 to 0.82; Navigation and Links, which improved from 0.76 to 0.82; User interface Design, which increased from 0.73 to 0.82; and Performance and Effectiveness, which rose from 0.69 to 0.74. Additionally, the count of indicators labeled as "Moderate" went down from five to just one. These results show that redesigning the user interface and user experience with the Double diamond method improved the usability of the Oke Garden Surveyor Partner web app and offered surveyors a more satisfying experience.
