Pengembangan E-Modul Berbasis Etnosains Edamame Pada Materi Perkembangbiakan Tumbuhan untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi Sains Peserta Didik Kelas IV SD

Abstract

This research aims to develop an ethnoscience-based edamame e-module on plant breeding materials to improve the science literacy of grade IV elementary school students. The research is motivated by the low science literacy and the limitations of teaching materials that have not integrated the local cultural context. The method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were grade IV students of SDN Tegal Besar 03 in a large-scale trial. The instruments include validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the e-module had a validity level of 89 (very feasible) and the validity of the test instrument of 88.66 (very feasible), and reliability of 0.85 (high). The e-module is also stated to be practical based on positive student responses and effective in improving science literacy based on learning test results. Thus, edamame-based ethnoscience-based e-modules are declared valid, practical, and effective as IPAS teaching materials to improve the science literacy of grade IV elementary school students.
