Pandangan Dunia Pengarang dalam Naskah Drama The Death of the Activist Karya Taruna Perkasa Putra dan Pemanfaatannya sebagai Alternatif Pembelajaran Sastra di SMA

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and analyze the author's worldview in the drama script The Death of the Activist by Taruna Perkasa Putra using the Sociology of Literature approach model Lucien Goldmann. The drama The Death of The Activist not only depicts the death of an activist, but also represents the relationship between humans and God, nature, humans, and themselves. In this context, the dialogue in the drama becomes a medium for conveying the author's worldview. This study uses a qualitative method with the Genetic Structuralism technique, but is not only limited to the author's worldview but is also supplemented with the genesis of social facts on the tragedy of the death of Lumajang environmental activist Salim. Data were obtained through dialogue, epilogue, kramagung, interviews, interviews with related informants containing literary facts and social facts. The results of the analysis show that the author's worldview contains the relationship between humans and God such as liberation theology and religious existentialism. The relationship between humans and nature contains ethical relations, nature as a victim of capitalism, and nature as a mirror of identity. The relationship between humans and humans contains views of social class, solidarity and betrayal of fellow activists. The relationship between humans and themselves depicts the perspective of existential awareness, moral and psychological reflection, as well as cultural and ideological dimensions. In addition, the results of this study are used as an alternative to final literature learning in Phase F of drama text material distributed to the writing element, namely writing critical response texts. Thus, it can be concluded that the author's worldview in the drama The Death of the Activist does not tell the story of the death of an activist, but also contains a depiction of ecological damage.
