Introduction: HIV/AIDS stigma in healthcare settings can affect the quality of nursing care and nurses' psychological well-being, including their job satisfaction. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between HIV/AIDS stigma and job satisfaction among nurses at Balung Regional Hospital (RSD Balung) Jember, which is the nearest hospital to the highest HIV/AIDS red zone in East Java. Method: This study used a quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 111 nurses who had cared for HIV/AIDS patients were recruited through purposive sampling. Data were collected using the HIV/AIDS Stigma Instrument for Nurses (HASI-N) and the Indonesian McCloskey/Mueller Satisfaction Scale (I-MMSS) via an online questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank correlation test. Result:Results showed that respondents had a mean age of 39 years, were predominantly female (55%), held a professional nursing degree (45.9%), were employed under PPPK status (47.7%), and had more than 10 years of work experience (52.3%). The overall level of HIV/AIDS stigma was low (mean = 2.81), with the de-stigmatization dimension (mean = 1.59) scoring higher than the stigmatization dimension (mean = 1.22). The majority of nurses reported moderate job satisfaction (60.4%). A statistically significant weak positive correlation was found between HIV/AIDS stigma and job satisfaction (p = 0.02; r = 0.20). Conclusion: This study concludes that HIV/AIDS stigma is significantly related to nurses' job satisfaction at RSD Balung Jember. Continuous anti-stigma training and strengthening of workplace peer support are recommended to improve both stigma reduction and nurses' job satisfaction.
