dc.description.abstractThe main purpose Mellenium Goals Development (MDGs) is a public health such as child welfare. Child health is manifested in the form of optimal development. Lack of optimal development will affect the child in achieving the task in the future. The task achievement of under five children development can be affected by nutritional status and family characteristics. The purpose of this research is to identify the factors associated with task achievement of under five children development in Sidomukti village the work area of Mayang in Jember regency. The research design used in here is analytic survey with case control design. The population is all under five children recorded in Mayang public health centers as many as 362 under five children. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling with total sampling respondent of 72 under five children; 36 under five children as the case group and 36 under five children as the control group. The result of the research using chi–quare test with an alpha of 5% it was obtained value of p=0,013, OR value=4,14.en_US
