dc.description.abstractThis research was intended to evaluate the reading materials stated in the English textbook “Bright: An English Course for Junior High School Students” published by Erlangga based on the 2013 Curriculum. The design of this research was evaluative research. The research objects were chosen by using purposive sampling. The data of this research were collected by using document analysis. The research result showed that there were seven reading materials stated in the textbook that were categorized “very relevant” with the basic competences of the 2013 Curriculum with the relevance percentage ranging between 83% - 96%.en_US
