dc.description.abstractBackgroud: Down syndrome is a genetic disorder caused by the presence of all part of a third copy of chromosome 21. It can cause physical disabilities, motor development delayed and mental retardation. Dental anomalies are commonly found in Down syndrome's patient. The incidence of dental anomalies in Down syndrome is approximately five times higher than in the normal population. Objective: Ai m of this study was to determine microdontia, supernumerary teeth, and taurodontism's percentage in Down syndrome i n one of inclusive school in Jember. Methods: This study was descriptive study. The respondents were six Down syndrome students aged 10-16 years old. After signed an informed consent, the subject was conducted to panoramic radiography and then identify microdontia, taurodontism and supernumerary teeth. Result and conclusion: The most frequent dental anomalies were taurodontism 17.2% or 28 teeth in six subjects, microdontia 9.8% or 16 teeth in five subjects, and supernumerary teeth 0.6% or one tooth in one subject.en_US
