Current Update: Management of Paediatric Burn Injury

Abstract

Basic concept of burn treatment and assessment is used in same way between adult and children. Major Differences between adults and children: large body surface area, thin skin, higher basal metabolic rate, small physiologic reserve and the different social & emotional development are considered to monitor assessment and treatment in burn children.
