dc.description.abstract | MGMP as coordinating institution and organization of the teaching profession needs to be
empowered in an effort to update curriculum, teaching, learning and development tools. In Jember
regency, MGMP always continue to improve conduct activities in mathematics learning innovation,
increased ability of teachers to create scientific works, as well as preparing the implementation of the
2013 curriculum or the national curriculum. One important aspect of the curriculum in 2013 is the
application of scientific approach (SA) as a learning approach. This is due to the belief that learning
can be paired with a scientific process. The implementation of social service is done in two
Mathematics MGMPs, the northern region MGMP and eastern region MGMP. The problem faced by
the two partners are limitations of materials and resources on mathematics student worksheet (MSW)
that orient to scientifc approach and electronic student books (BSE) issued by the government has not
completely in describing the steps of scientific approach, so it needs to be supported by the MSW SA.
However, in reality there are many mathematics teachers joined in MGMPs yet to fully understand the
manufacturing MSW SA. IbM is implemented starting from June to July 2016 in coordination with
the two partners. Training design student worksheet (MSW) based Scientific Approach conducted
intensive start date of August 22, 2016. Monitoring and assistance was done in September-October
2016. The output of the target from the implementation of this IbM has reached 100%, namely: (1)
design students worksheet based on scientific approach, and (2) design MSW that published online. | en_US |
