dc.description.abstractBackground: Herpetic stomatitis was a viral infection which manifests in oral as ulcers and caused by infection of the type 1 of herpes simplex virus. Case description: Male, 4 years old, 1-2 mm in diameter of reddish macula in the right and left buccal mucosa and gingival maxillary, and pain. In the bottom of labial mucosa there were found reddish ulcers, 1mm of diameter, and pain. There were 1 mm diameter of ulcers in the soft palate, clear red bounded by the middle of yellowish-white ulcers and pain. In the left maxillary gingival contained 1 mm diameter of vesicles, and pain in touched. In the dorsum of tongue, there was 2 mm diameter of erosion, clear boundary, and pain when used to eating. This situation began with prodromal symptoms for 72 hours and then felt pain in oral cavity and not tasty in eating. Conclusion: The final diagnosis of these cases was Primary herpetic stomatitis. The treatment were Aloclair which helped pain relief because of cancer sores in the oral cavity and Sangobion kids multivitamin which contained vitamin B complex, folic acid, vitamin C, vitamin E, and zinc.en_US
