dc.description.abstract | Staphylococcus epidermidis is one of the main pathogen nosocomial
infections , which is that an infection that is acquired or experienced the patients
for treatment at a hospital. Nosocomial infections or which is now better known for
health-care the associated infection ( hais ) is the cause of most important
mortalitas and morbidity a patient in a hospital. A disease that can be inflicted
staphylococcus epidermidis is urinary infections , infection of the implant protesa
inside the body , sepsis , endocarditis , and endophtalmitis .The use of antibiotics
currently causing bacteria become more resistant , hence there should have been a
new invention or replace an antibiotic that is no longer effective alternative as a
remedy .One of which is using Averrhoa bilimbi plants .Plant having a metabolite
secondary active in the form of a compound that is both as an antibacterial .This
study aims to to analyze an obstruent extract power leaves the leatherback wuluh
against bacteria Staphylococcus epidermidis. Serial concentration used is 10 % ,
20 % , 30 % , 40 % and 50 % with 3 times repetition.Analysis data using
