dc.description.abstractThe use of learning materials in accordance with the characteristics and students learning environment is one key to the success of integrated science learning. Comic and Jember’s local wisdom can be used as learning materials in accordance with the characteristics of the student, interesting, and close to the students learning environment. This study conducted to describe the learning outcomes obtained with the use of comic and Jember’s local wisdom as integrated science learning materials on the level of junior high school. The study design was quantitative descriptive with 35 samples of seventh grade junior high school (MTs Bustanul Ulum), Panti sub-district, Jember, Indonesia. The results obtained showed that the learning outcomes of students meet classical completeness of 85.7 % with an average value of 80.17 % and high category. This shows that utilizing of comic and Jember’s local wisdom is an effective tools in teaching integrated science. This learning tools improved students performance and motivated them to learn.en_US
