dc.description.abstractThe conditions of tooth loss is defined as edentulous. Partially edentulous should be classified morder to ease of determining the type of denture. Purpose: To determine of tooth loss distribution which is based on the Kennedy classification and types of denture for patients in Dental Hospital of Jember University. Methods: This study was an epidemiological with the design of research is a descriptive observational and research method using cross sectional approach. Sample is all of the patient that attend on departement prosthodontics of dental hospital of Jember University. The study performed on November 2015 – Januari 2016. Evaluation of partial edentulous based on the Kennedy classification and Applegate’s modification. Through oral examination the subject was conducted after informed consent. Use Microsoft Excel 2010 and calculators. Results and Conclusion: The highest percentation is Class III Modification I. Removable partial dentures most diversified Class III Modification I in the maxillary jaw and Free end saddle bilateral in the mandibullary.en_US
