| dc.description.abstract | This article aims to discuss the ritual Seblang
institutions in the context of the social structure Using
community, Banyuwangi. The method used is the study of
literature, participation observation, and in-depth interviews,
with functional-structural analysis method. The results
showed that the institution Seblang ritual is a social
institution that is enabled by the Using as an integral part of
their social structure. Seblang sacred values will also be a
convergence between alam alus and alam kasar, between
man and dhanyang, between microcosm and macrocosm.
