dc.description.abstractJanger Banyuwangi is the traditional arts Banyuwangi district of dance and drama manifold is equipped with a stage, musical instruments, dances, songs, and jokes. The traditional art of Janger Banyuwangi has a combination of cultures, there are Using, Java, and Bali. The problems in this study include (1) the background of the traditional art Janger Banyuwangi; (2) the combination of Java, and Bali cultures in traditional arts Janger Banyuwangi; (3) to analyze the cultural values in traditional arts Janger Banyuwangi; (4) efforts to preserve traditional arts Janger Banyuwangi. The purposes of this study are (1) to analyze the background of traditional arts Janger Banyuwangi; (2) to assess and determine the forms of cultural fusion Using, Java, and Bali; (3) to analyze the cultural values embodied in the traditional arts Janger Banyuwangi; (4) to analyze the conservation efforts of traditional arts Janger Banyuwangi. The method used in this research is the historical research. This research using functional theory developed by David Kaplan. Fungsuonal theory brings one to think of the socio-cultural system as an organism whose parts are not only interconnected, but also provide maintenance, stability and survival of the organism.en_US
