EFEKTIFITAS EKSTRAK DAUN WUNGU (GRAPTOPHYLLUM PICTUM L. GRIFF) SEBAGAI ANTIBAKTERI TERHADAP KUMAN MYCOBACTERIUM TUBERCULOSIS

Abstract

Daun wungu (Graptophyllum pictum L. Griff) is one of traditional plants which is usually used as hemoroid medicine in Indonesia. Daun wungu composition is alkaloid, pectin, saponin, tannin, flavonoid and alcohol. Tannin and flavonoid have antibacterial effect. The purpose of study was to investigate the effect of daun wungu extract toward the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
