dc.description.abstractThe tittle of this thesis is "'USA's Propaganda in War-Movie to Achieve its Political Interest" and the writer using three tittle of war-moviec as the object of the research. Those movies are Saving Private Ryan, Pearl Harbour and We Were Soldiers. In this research, the writer tries to find the propaganda symbols and values that may enclose in those movies. And the writer does find those values and symbols. Using the Discourse Analysis Which have four points and six elements, his analysis really help the writer in finding the propaganda values in it. The four points which stress on the ideology topic as the disscussion, and the six elements which are thematic, schematic, syntaxsis, stihstic, semantic and retoric are the very appropriate way to evaluate the discourse beyond.
