Along with the development of globalization, telecommunications become one important part for the life of Indonesian society. These conditions make the acquisition of telecommunications in Indonesia need to be monitored, although held by large corporations that control most of the world's information and telecommunications systems such as Temasek Holdings. This paper aims to show that the entry of Temasek Holdings to Indonesian telecommunications company, Indosat, ultimately opposed by the Indonesian government. These studies indicate that the entry of Temasek Holdings to Indosat has caused economic and political problems. It is shown by the various acts of rejection from society and the Indonesian government, the emergence of public loss data, and violations of the antitrust laws of Indonesia, who then urged Temasek Holdings should divest its shares in Indosat.en_US
