    Abstract
One of the causes of the poor quality of teeth is premature eruption because usually found in a state of low levels of calcification, abnormal tooth shape, tooth be rocking because the roots are not complete. Caries in deciduous teeth that continued is one cause of premature eruption. The purpose of this study was to analyze the incidence of premature eruption of successor permanent tooth due to caries in deciduous teeth. This research method was descriptive. The source data of this research was secondary data obtained from the card status of patient in medical records of RSGM FKG Universitas Jember. Card status was selected to aged 4-8 years, who suffer ongoing caries (irreversible pulpitis, pulp gangrene, or radix gangrene) on the maxillary and mandibullar decidui molars. Successor permanent tooth bud (premolar) was observed through X-ray images. Premolar that has undergone mucosal penetration phase (alveolar bone has pierced) and which was still in the stage of intra-alveolar eruption (seeds in the alveolar bone) was observed. The results of this study was the total population (decidui molar experience continues caries was 475 teeth), the percentage of premolar tooth through alveolar bone (ready for eruption) was for the maxillary second premolar 46.51%, the mandibular second premolar 56.98%, while the first premolars maxillary first premolar 68.04% and 39.06% lower jaw. It was concluded that carious in deciduous teeth resulted premature eruption as much as 43.16%.
