| dc.description.abstract | This research tries to analyze: (1) supply, demand and price of rice in East Java, (2) mechanism of import tarrif toward performance market in East Java. This research used secondary data from 1990 until 2004 and used econometric analysis with simultaneous models. The results are as follows : (1) The supply of rice was infleunced by rice product, rice stock and rice import in East Java. The demand of rice was influenced by rice price, corn price, per-capita income and population. (2) The import tarrif policy influenced price market performance in East Java especially in quantity of rice import, supply, demand, rice price, paddy price, area size and paddy yield. | en_US |
